Overview

1003 Club Fitness is a personal fitness analysis application designed to help users better understand their own activity data. This app is not a social platform and does not share user data with other users, third parties, or advertisers.

We take user privacy seriously and collect only the minimum data required to provide app functionality.

Data Access & Use

Once a user explicitly authenticates with Garmin, 1003 Club Fitness may access fitness and activity data made available through the Garmin API, such as:

  • Activity metadata (e.g., date, duration, distance)
  • Performance metrics (e.g., pace, heart rate, elevation)
  • Lap or split information (when available)

This data is used solely to:

  • Display activity information back to the authenticated user
  • Generate summaries, statistics, and insights for personal fitness analysis
  • Improve the clarity and usefulness of the user’s own fitness data

Data Processing

  • Some local or server-side analysis may be performed to compute derived metrics or insights (e.g., averages, trends, summaries).
  • All analysis is performed only for the authenticated user and only to support app features.

Data Storage

  • 1003 Club Fitness does not permanently store Garmin activity data.
  • Activity data is fetched on demand and processed temporarily to generate insights.
  • Authentication tokens are stored securely and used only to access the user’s own data.
  • No historical fitness data is retained once the session ends, unless required transiently for functionality.

Data Sharing

  • No data is shared with other users.
  • No data is sold or shared with advertisers, analytics platforms, or third parties.
  • Data is never made public.
  • This app includes no social features.

User Control & Consent

  • Users must explicitly authorize Garmin data access via OAuth.
  • Users may revoke access at any time through their Garmin account settings.
  • Revoking access immediately stops all data retrieval.

Security

  • Industry-standard security practices are used to protect authentication tokens and in-transit data.
  • All data access occurs over encrypted connections (HTTPS).

Children’s Privacy

1003 Club Fitness is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy changes, updates will be posted clearly within the app or associated website.
